Dexed is a free software synthesizer created by Digital Suburban. It is a virtual clone of the Yamaha DX7, one of the most iconic and influential synthesizers in history.
The DX7 was introduced in 1983 and featured a new form of synthesis called Frequency Modulation (FM) that allowed for highly complex and unique sounds. Dexed brings this technology to your computer in a convenient and easy-to-use interface.
