Dexed is a free software synthesizer created by Digital Suburban. It is a virtual clone of the Yamaha DX7, one of the most iconic and influential synthesizers in history.
The DX7 was introduced in 1983 and featured a new form of synthesis called Frequency Modulation (FM) that allowed for highly complex and unique sounds. Dexed brings this technology to your computer in a convenient and easy-to-use interface.
With Dexed, users can create a wide variety of sounds, from classic '80s synth-pop to modern EDM hits. It features 144 built-in presets, as well as the ability to import and export DX7 patches.
